Lone Survivor, Workouts & Closet Clean Out
Friday night the hubs and I decided to have a date night. It’s been a while since we actually had a full date night like dinner and a movie. Where I live our theater has a restaurant inside the building and you can also drink(alcohol) and eat your dinner while watching the movie. This particular section is 21+ with nice leather recliners, its really nice. We didn’t opt for that this time around but we did eat at the restaurant before hand. They have some of the best sushi(I devoured it and then remembered I need to take a pic)! My husband and I each got a roll and we split some cumin fries. I also got a Blue Moon; its my favorite beer. Its been a while since I had one so I thought why not.
The bar lit up which was pretty cools as well.
We ended up seeing the Lone Survivor. I had been hearing such great things about the movie so I was really excited to see it. It did not disappoint and I really enjoyed it. Military movies always make me emotional because they hit home for me. My dad has been in the Army for over 20 years and has been to Afghanistan and Iraq. Thankfully nothing has ever happened to him. Those types of movies I know walking into them I will cry. Thank you to all the military men and women who have served and continue to serve our country!
As usual I started my Saturday morning off with a workout. I did a jump rope circuit and then worked Shoulders, triceps and chest. I am loving the song “Flawless”, by Beyonce. I randomly will walk through the house saying, ” I woke up like this, I woke up like this. “. Yes, I’m a dork.
If you are looking for a new cardio circuit to try. Give this jump rope circuit a go, trust me it will get your heart pumping. It’s from PBFingers.com. She puts together some great workouts!

Later that day it was time to break out my new hangers. I found these bad boys at target. They were $8.99 for 35 hangers, I bought two boxes. These hangers are great for shirts and dresses that slip of the hanger. No more random shirts falling in my closet and no more awkward shoulder bumps in my shirts from the hanger. Plus while switching out my hangers I got rid of a bunch of stuff I don’t wear anymore. I kind of felt like I was spring cleaning, but unfortunately its not that time of year yet. 😦
Oh and of course Roxy had to be right in the middle supervising and checking to see if there are any birds she can bark at.
Sunday was laid back. I got up pretty early and cooked some breakfast. Below is Roxy begging for some bacon. She’s hoping that sweet little face will make me give in.
I ended up laying on the couch being lazy till it was time to take the hubs to the airport. He’s headed to San Fran this week for work. So it will just be me and the pups spending some quality time together.
Did you do anything fun this weekend or try anything new?
Have you seen Lone Survivor yet?
